Timothy Weah is an American right-sided player used as a right-back or wing-back and as a winger, classified by Marseille's official site as a defender. A product of Paris Saint-Germain's academy, he won the Scottish double on loan at Celtic, the Ligue 1 title with Lille and the 2023-24 Coppa Italia with Juventus. He joined Marseille on loan in August 2025, the move became permanent in June 2026 and he was named captain that August. A regular for the United States, he was selected for the 2026 World Cup squad.
