Timothy Chandler is an American right-back, born in Frankfurt to a US serviceman father and a German mother, who is now in the veteran stage of a long career at Eintracht Frankfurt. A 1.87 m defender, he has come to rely on experience, positioning and a calm head over pace. He came through Frankfurt's reserves, spent 2010 to 2014 at Nuremberg, and returned to Eintracht in 2014. He won 29 caps for the United States between 2011 and 2016 and was in the squad for the 2014 World Cup.
