Tiago Araújo is a Portuguese left-back, left-footed and about 1.84m tall, who has played for KAA Gent since 2024. He came through the youth system in Portugal, including Benfica, spent 2021-22 on loan at Arouca and then played two seasons for Estoril Praia in the Primeira Liga before moving to Belgium. A reliable overlapping full-back with a good crossing ability, he can also cover wing positions when required. He has represented Portugal at youth level through the under-21s and has no senior caps.
