Sami Al-Najei is a Saudi Arabian central midfielder who came through the Al-Nassr academy and has been with the club since his senior debut in 2016. A compact, technically tidy player, he works as a squad option in the middle of the park, with more of his value in tidy circulation and effort than in physical dominance. He spent loan spells at Al-Qadsiah and Damac in 2019-20 before settling back at Al-Nassr, and he has been used mainly as a substitute at the start of 2026-27. He is a former senior Saudi Arabia international who also played for the national U20 and U23 sides.
Made his Al-Nassr debut as a substitute against Ittihad on 8 May 2016.
Won the Saudi Super Cup in 2020 and the Arab Club Champions Cup in 2023 with Al-Nassr.
