Ruben van Bommel is a Dutch left winger at PSV Eindhoven, known for his acceleration, close control and runs into the box. A product of the PSV academy, he developed further at MVV Maastricht and AZ before returning to the club in 2025. He is the son of former Netherlands midfielder Mark van Bommel. A serious knee ligament injury interrupted his first season back, and he is now working his way back into the first-team wide rotation.
Son of Mark van Bommel and grandson of Bert van Marwijk, who coached the Netherlands to the 2010 World Cup final.
Returned to PSV in 2025 from AZ, having also played for MVV Maastricht after leaving the PSV academy.
