Oli McBurnie is a Scottish centre-forward, 6ft 2in tall, who leads the line with strength, hold-up play and a strong finish. Born in Leeds to Scottish parents, he began at Leeds and Bradford City, before moving to Swansea City and making his name on loan at Barnsley. He signed for Sheffield United in 2019, later had a short spell at Las Palmas, and joined Hull City in August 2025. He scored the goal that won the 2026 play-off final and took Hull to the Premier League.
Scored in the fifth minute of stoppage time to beat Middlesbrough 1-0 in the 2026 Championship play-off final at Wembley.
Named Hull City's Player of the Year for 2025-26.
Recalled to the Scotland squad in September 2026.
