Nathanael Ogbeta is an English left-back who joined Marítimo on a free transfer from Plymouth Argyle in July 2026. He is a defensive-minded full-back with enough pace to support attacks on the left side. A product of the Manchester City academy, he made his senior debut with Shrewsbury Town in 2021, then moved to Swansea City and went on loan to Peterborough United, Bolton Wanderers and Barnsley. He signed for Plymouth in 2024, and has England youth caps up to U20 level.
Made his England U20 debut on 29 March 2022 in a 3-1 win over Germany.
Scored his first Plymouth goal on 25 January 2025, a last-minute equaliser.
