Michael Gregoritsch is an Austrian striker, a 1.93 metre forward who combines aerial strength, hold-up play and well-timed arrivals in the box, and who has also played on the wing. Born in Graz, he began at Kapfenberger SV and became the youngest scorer in Austrian Bundesliga history at 15, before moving through Hoffenheim and Hamburger SV to FC Augsburg in 2017. After a loan at Schalke, a spell at SC Freiburg and a move to Brøndby, he returned to Augsburg on loan in January 2026, made permanent in June 2026. He is a long-standing Austria international who played at Euro 2020 and Euro 2024.
Scored in Austria's 3-1 win over North Macedonia at Euro 2020, the country's first win at a European Championship.
Became the youngest goalscorer in the history of the Austrian Bundesliga, at 15 years old in 2010.
