Markus Karlsbakk is a Norwegian central midfielder who can also play as an attacking midfielder, a technical dribbler who arrives late into the box. He came through the Aalesund academy and made his senior debut there in 2017, with loan spells at Raufoss along the way. A move to Lillestrøm followed in 2024, and he helped the club win the Norwegian First Division and the Norwegian Cup in 2025. He joined Çorum in August 2026 for his first season abroad, in the Süper Lig.
