Mahamadou Susoho is a Spanish-born defensive midfielder of Gambian descent who came through the Espanyol and Manchester City academies after moving to England as a boy. He is a combative, hard-running ball-winner who screens the back line and keeps his passing simple. He gained senior experience on loan at Peterborough United and Livingston before joining Kocaelispor in the Turkish Süper Lig in January 2026. He has represented England at U16 level and Spain at U17 and U18 level.
Raised in the Manchester City academy, he was part of the club's squad when City won the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup.
