Lee Jae-sung is a South Korean attacking midfielder and winger who has been a senior figure at Mainz 05 since 2021. He is known for fast-tempo passing, a high work rate, defensive interceptions and a strong shot from range. After starting at Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, where he won the AFC Champions League and the K League MVP award, he moved to Holstein Kiel in 2018 before joining Mainz. He has more than 100 caps for South Korea and has played at the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.
