Ismael Baouf is a Moroccan centre-back born in Belgium who came through Charleroi's youth ranks before joining Anderlecht's academy in 2022 and playing for RSCA Futures. He joined Cambuur on a three-year contract in August 2025 and quickly became a regular in central defence, partnering Jamal Amofa. He played in all seven matches as Morocco won the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup and earned his first senior call-up in March 2026. A young, composed defender with high potential, he is already a starter for the Eredivisie club.
