Giorgi Chakvetadze is a Georgian attacking midfielder, born in Tbilisi, who can also play on the left wing or as a central midfielder. He joined Udinese in July 2026 on a four-year contract after leaving Watford. A product of Dinamo Tbilisi, he built his career at Gent, with loans at Hamburger SV and Slovan Bratislava, before moving to Watford in 2023. A Georgia international since 2018, he played at Euro 2024 and has 42 caps.
Scored the first goal in the history of the UEFA Nations League, for Georgia against Kazakhstan on 6 September 2018.
