Gabriel Brás is a Portuguese centre-back from Póvoa de Varzim who started at Varzim and joined Porto's academy in 2017. He made his Porto B debut in Liga Portugal 2 in August 2023, became captain of the reserve side and has played for Portugal at youth levels up to under-21. He is on loan at NEC from Porto B for 2026-27, his first spell outside Portugal. He is a composed, organised young defender who is adapting to first-team football in the Eredivisie.
Named in the Team of the Tournament at the 2023 UEFA European Under-19 Championship, where Portugal finished as runners-up.
