Clément Akpa is a French-born left-back who can also play at centre-back and represents Ivory Coast, of Ivorian descent and born in Meudon. He trained at Vandoeuvre, Montrouge and Metz before moving to Auxerre in 2021, and spent a loan season at Orléans in 2022-23. He is an established member of Auxerre's squad, having helped the club win Ligue 2 in 2023-24 and gain promotion to Ligue 1.
