Scouting Report & Player Insights
Claudio Pugliese is an Italian goalkeeper born in Scampia, Naples, who has risen through Napoli's youth system after starting at the local Arci Scampia school. A left-footed keeper, he is noted for quick reflexes and comfort on the ball, and he split last season between Napoli's Under-18 and Primavera sides. He has signed a first professional contract and has been called to the Serie A bench as cover for Alex Meret. At 18 he is a long-term prospect and not yet a senior option, so this profile is deliberately cautious.
