Álvaro Zamora is a Costa Rican winger who plays at Académico de Viseu on loan from Aris Thessaloniki. Born in San José, he came through the Alajuelense, Herediano and Orlando City youth systems before breaking through at Deportivo Saprissa. He joined Aris in 2023 and has been with Viseu since 2025. He is a Costa Rica international who was in the squad for the 2022 World Cup and is an established member of the Viseu attack.
